title : Love the globes or diminish it?
I know its been sooo long, I have been MIA and I haven't neglected my loyal readers you have been in my thoughts. The upcoming giggles and bubbles towards new years engulfed me and then 2011 Monday morning threw me back into reality of working...someones got to pay rent!

On to the GOLDEN GLOBES 2011! Where was ricky gervais cause all I saw was some stupid man hosting the show flushing his hosting career down the toilet when Johnny Depp was the butt of a certain joke that included insulting the Golden Globe mafia "the hollywood foreign press". Speaking of people out of place, Robert Pattinson i love you but what were you doing at an adult event? You are meant for tweens and that crackalacking voice of justin beiber's should have stayed at home with his 3D movie that will be on sale for 7dollars at Kmart in a month..

At number THREE: Unrecognizable from falling out of the closet in whatever she finds, Lea Michelle looked stunning in powder lush Oscar de la renta. The layers fawning to the left emphasizes balance within the one shoulder cut. Break me off a ruffle please? Someone needs to tell Lea to style her tying up her hair in a scrunch, not Golden Globe worthy..Local Mall worthy.

Number Two: The never disappointing (could never tell a NBA star broke her heart) Desperatre housewife star EVA Longoria. Slick back fold hair-do stepping out freshly crisp in a black glam trailing gown with a strong neckline. Could do with some red lipstick to pull it together and you would think girl could afford a neck piece to team up with mundane unnoticed earrings, it is a lack of preparation.

NUMBER ONE: House star or most of you know her as the O.C alex, Olivia Wilde wins best dressed gracing the red carpet in a brown Marchesa gown. The studded star could fit a few munchkins under it. The hair, the pose, the look all fell together for Ms.Wilde, Megan who attending the globes?

title : The crown for sexiest man alive goes to...RYAN REYNOLDS
Many know him as the icon trouble-making golf-cart riding Van Wilder, others (women of this earth who have eyes) know him as the sexiest man alive. People magazine dedicated this year's title to Ryan Reynolds who joined the line of ex-crown wearers, Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Johnny Depp.

"I'm very happy for him," Clooney said graciously at a humanitarian awards dinner in New York on Wednesday. He then added, jokingly: "I'm also happy that it's not Brad [Pitt]."
This year I believe he is starring in the comic flick, The Green Lantern. This heartthrob who is also married to vixen Scarlett Johansson. So what is this manly man all about ? The two girls and guy star has had changing looks throughout the years, and now every girl wants a piece of him. ( well the ladies who are from post selena gomez generation)
Regrets about 'Van Wilder': "It made me the party guy. I would walk into a bar and people would start lining up the shots. You could sum up my career at that point as a free shot at a bar. I know it affected me more than I'm revealing, because I know I went years without even saying the worlds 'Van Wilder.' Even now, when I say it, it's a bit of a stretch for me."

About Mrs. Scarlett Reynolds : "Things change when you get married in general. But in terms of being a couple that's in a public situation and speculated about and all that nonsense, it's changed a little bit. I'm a little more guarded, I think. I'm just a little bit more wary of having my relationship turning into a soap opera," Reynolds says in the October issue of GQ.

title : How to beat the skinny french lady in success dressing!

How to dress for part success, according to Kai Aiyub, Sunrise Fashion Editor

It’s all about the new AM/PM darling. This season is all about statement necklaces, the dress and structure. A lot of women are time sensitive and these days it’s all about being versatile.

You can wear the same dress you did to work, but by teaming it with statement accessories, like necklaces will transform your outfit from bland bold. You don’t even have to spend too much. Go to target, Myer or Sportsgirl, pick up a statement piece for $17 you’ll have a fabulous outfit. Add a thick, high waisted belt that’s structured and fabulous.

It’s like a facelift bring out your inner housewife goddess. Flick your hair back, apply some eyeliner, a bold lipstick and don’t forget to carry gum, double-sided Hollywood tape and a heavy scented fragrance.

For guys, if you’re wearing a suit and tie, keep the top half but add some dark denim jeans and some boots with a point and shine, which brings a bit of funk to your fabulouness.

Now the maxi dress, the beauty of the maxi is the length. The sheer elegance of it promotes a summery vibrant feeling along with some glamour and class. Best to steer clean from lycra when it comes to maxi dresses for two reasons, the heat and it looks cheap.

Run to ALLY or Sportsgirl for some hot new affordable prizes to wear from AM/PM (currently wearing a maxi dress for work, wearing the same dress with a belt and pearls for drinks, take a hint!)

Left: PRINT X-OVER MAXI (A11427)

Price: $24.99

Right: PRINT DIPPING HEMLINE DRESS (AL1774)
Price: $27.99  ( bought the dress yesterday;)

title : The signature is in the detail with the 40's.
Bringing back nostalgia with a 40s theme, ASOS brings the feather boas and classic lace & sparkles back into business.
Georgette Drop Tie Waist Dress $62 at ASOS

Premium Lace Playsuit $62 ASOS
Rihanna reps many centuries of fashion, several cultures and various do's but she never forgets the 40's. The most beautiful women in hollywood are from barbados such as Halle Berry and Rihanna, and they leave this world with such a statement physically and with their talents. I love the pearls, the layers on top of bit of lace and solid classic black. The red lips just pulls it all together giving it a sophisticated new york 40's look. The signature is in the detail... always.

title : Sydney’s secret gem spots, you think you know them?
Sydney’s secret gem spots, you think you know them?

You think you know your city better than anyone? Bring your Sydney 'city faves' to the table and vote which spot is top.

We all have a favourite city spot that we tend to run to on a Saturday night. The venue’s impeccable service, fabulous atmosphere (maybe a cute waiter or two) but what is the ultimate Sydney spot?

Sydneysiders have already begun to vote for their beloved entertainment location in this year’s Best in the City Awards, but who do you want to see take home the award of ‘Best in the City’.

The list of 40 finalists have been revealed and now Citysearch is leaving it up to the people of the city to vote on what’s the hottest and which venues should be voted off.

Take part in the voting and uncover the city’s hidden valued spots and low-key spots that will guarantee you a fiesta weekend. Venues such as The Italian at Bondi Beach, Cooper Arms Hotel in Newtown, and Alria in Pyrmont have been nominated under 10 unique categories like ‘Best bar with a view’ and ‘Best queer night out.’

Nova radio jock Scott Dooley oversaw the final nominations and described the award as a fantastic way to shine the spotlight on those hidden gem venues that fly under the radar.

“Sydney is such an awesome city and there is always something going on,” Dooley said.

The fact that the Citysearch Best in the City Awards is a people’s choice award rather than an industry award really gets me excited. Who better to tell us what to do and where to go than the cool cats of Sydney?”

Head to citysearch.com/awards to vote for your favourite hotspot. Voting polls close Monday 8 November.

All voters go into the draw to win some fantastic prizes, including a night VIP tickets to Good Vibrations, a lavish spa package, a helicopter ride over the Harbor Bridge and much more!

Check out these celebs with their customized cakes, who says celebs dont like the sweet stuff? they certainly can afford it.
