title : How to beat the skinny french lady in success dressing!
How to dress for part success, according to Kai Aiyub, Sunrise Fashion Editor
It’s all about the new AM/PM darling. This season is all about statement necklaces, the dress and structure. A lot of women are time sensitive and these days it’s all about being versatile.
You can wear the same dress you did to work, but by teaming it with statement accessories, like necklaces will transform your outfit from bland bold. You don’t even have to spend too much. Go to target, Myer or Sportsgirl, pick up a statement piece for $17 you’ll have a fabulous outfit. Add a thick, high waisted belt that’s structured and fabulous.
It’s like a facelift bring out your inner housewife goddess. Flick your hair back, apply some eyeliner, a bold lipstick and don’t forget to carry gum, double-sided Hollywood tape and a heavy scented fragrance.
For guys, if you’re wearing a suit and tie, keep the top half but add some dark denim jeans and some boots with a point and shine, which brings a bit of funk to your fabulouness.
Now the maxi dress, the beauty of the maxi is the length. The sheer elegance of it promotes a summery vibrant feeling along with some glamour and class. Best to steer clean from lycra when it comes to maxi dresses for two reasons, the heat and it looks cheap.
Run to ALLY or Sportsgirl for some hot new affordable prizes to wear from AM/PM (currently wearing a maxi dress for work, wearing the same dress with a belt and pearls for drinks, take a hint!)
