title : NINETOFIVE / to perm or not to perm?
Well my internship at NINETOFIVE is slowly paying off, I got the new digital edition of the hard copy magazine and here are my published pieces.
     Thanks for all the support :) Now due to a recent request on perms, I have investigated several websites and ideas on perms! hope this helps!! Perms are back, obviously not the full on 1980's afro do that most of our mothers possessed, but light perms, roots perms, half perms (loose waves) however word of caution, 1) HIGHLIGHTED HAIR is a no go for perms if your hair is highlighted 30-40% you might want to reconsider because highlighting already dries out the hair and perming it causes more heat damage hence the extra crazy fly aways and FRIZZ DRAMA!! 2) Lots of LAYERS lots of layers is a not the wisest idea if you are considering a perm, as the layers will make style look messy and way too much volume (3/4s of a way to an AFRO) for more hairstyle tips! click here |
